Welcome to Faith Community West online! We are a brand new church reaching out to the people of the west side of Columbus, Ohio with God’s love!
We are just getting started in this venture but we’re seeing God’s hand at work in many ways! And we’ve already met many wonderful people who are interested in pursuing a closeness with God and with each other.
We hope this website will help you learn more about us. Feel free to visit one of our activities!
We currently have an office building at 2637 Sullivant Ave. and worship at 496 S. Wheatland (First United Brethren Church) on Sundays at 4 p.m.
Ben & Andi Douglass
We welcome Ben and Andi Douglass who have moved to the areas and have just started serving with us! Ben is our Assistant Pastor!
Imagine!
Imagine! A place where Hilltop teens can gather for some healthy snacks, meet with a mentor, get help with homework, build positive relationships, and play games. A place where our SAY Yes students have room to meet with their tutor, space to play, and stations for various activities. Imagine a place where local uplifting artwork is displayed. A place where marriage seminars help wounded relationships, where parenting classes provide needed skills and support. Where classes help people embrace healthy living habits. That's the place we're dreaming of when we look at 2572 Sullivant! But to make the building physically ready will require much effort!
Our "new" building is in need of much repair. The roof, the plumbing, the el ectric, the heating/cooling systems - all need work. We are upgrading the building to be handicap accessible. Currently we are having plans drawn up for approval by the city of Columbus. Please pray for us as we walk through the process of building transformation in anticipation of life transformation!
